About Liberty Defense
Liberty Defense LLC is located in the Zebulon NC area and was started in early 2016 with the goal of serving the community by teaching the basic fundamentals needed to safely handle firearms and to protect yourself and your family. Long before that we began our journey as avid Shooters, Firearms Collectors, and Hunters. We saw that there is a growing interest in firearms ownership and the need to prepare and to protect one's self in a world where daily threats are becoming more and more prevalent. With the increase in gun ownership comes a growing need for people to be trained to handle their firearms safely and proficiently.
Liberty Defense prides ourselves on having friendly, knowledgeable, and well qualified instructors. Our Chief Instructor, Jason Alford has achieved the following qualifications:
- USCCA Certified Instructor
- NRA Certified Pistol Instructor
- NRA Certified Range Safety Officer
- NRA Personal Protection in the Home Instructor
- NCJA Certified North Carolina Concealed Carry Handgun Instructor
- NRA Recruiter
- NRA rated Distinguished Expert Pistol Marksman.

We at Liberty Defense strive to narrow the gap between those who just own a gun, and those who have the training and skill to defend themselves with that gun!
Our mission is to serve our community by educating and training shooters of all types and skill levels, from beginners to advanced shooters. Through training with Liberty Defense you will gain the knowledge, skills, and attitude needed to become a safe, responsible gun owner and NC concealed carry holder. It is our constitutional right to bare arms, but it is our individual responsibility to know how to safely handle, store, and operate them. Our training team will provide you with the necessary training to defend yourself, your family, and your liberty! We provide a comfortable atmosphere with knowledgeable NRA and NCJA certified instructors giving you the personal attention you need to become a better shooter. We Also offer a number of Online training options through USCCA. We look forward to helping you on your journey to LEARN, TRAIN, and DEFEND!
